The author

Always a Student

Carlos Tanner has spent more than twenty years studying plant medicine traditions in the Peruvian Amazon. In 2009 he founded the Ayahuasca Foundation to offer educational courses and healing retreats with the indigenous curanderos who taught him. In 2017 he opened the Riosbo Retreat & Research Center and began partnering with psychiatrists and psychologists from Onaya Science. He writes and speaks as a curious explorer of consciousness, and as a student of the family lineage that has guided his work ever since.
